Rectangular paper; border on all sides; predominantly shades of blue and green; "Walk in the Water" steamer is in centre on the Detroit River; several sailboats as well; people on shore in the foreground are looking at the steamer; background is the Detroit shoreline, which shows several buildings, including St. Ann's Church, Merchant's Wharf, Roby Wharf, Truax House, Campau House, and several warehouses; description in border along bottom (see Marks); original was done in watercolour.
